Snack time is the favorite meal time for teens. But the excessive fats containing snacks are dangerous to your appropriate health maintenance. For a healthy diet, it is mandatory that it provides the proper balance of all the essential nutrition in it. Check out these delicious and healthy snacks recipes for teens, and delight your everyday evening.

Cheesy Chex Mix:

Evening time meals are necessary to boost up your energy level. Cheesy Chex mix is a healthy evening meal to serve best for this purpose.

Serving size: 1 serving

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of Chex cereal
  • 1 cup of cheese crackers
  • 2 cups of mini pretzels
  • ¾ cup of grated parmesan
  • One pinch of garlic powder
  • ½ stick of butter
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  • Heat a pan, and add butter into it, allow it to melt.
  • Take a bowl and all the ingredients with the melted butter and mix them properly.
  • Take a baking sheet and spread the mixture on it.
  • Put it in the oven and bake for 15 min at 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The delicious and healthy evening meals are ready. Enjoy them.

Curry potato chips are perfect to add the delight of potato chips with curry powder in your snack time. They serve a delicious evening meal.

Serving size: 2 servings

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Three potatoes, medium-sized
  • Three tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • One teaspoon of curry powder

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven, by adding two baking sheets inside at 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Meanwhile, cut thin slices of potatoes.
  • Add and mix the ingredients with sliced potatoes and toss them well.
  • Spread these potatoes slices on the heated baking sheets, and bake for 10 min.
  • The delicious snack meal of curry potato chips is ready. Enjoy it.

Curry Potato ChipsGranola Bars:

It is a finger-licking meal, the best one as a healthy snack for teens.

Serving size: 2 servings

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Two tablespoons of butter
  • 1/3 cup of honey
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Two tablespoons of wheat germ
  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of chopped nuts
  • 1 cup of dry fruits

Directions:

  • Add butter, honey, brown sugar, and salt in a pan, heat it and mix the ingredients.
  • Add the other ingredients and mix them well.
  • Use an 8-inch parchment-lined square pan and add the mixture in it.
  • Press the mixture properly, and bake it in the oven at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 min.
  • After the mixture is cooked, take it out and let it cool.
  • Cut bars of your desired size.

Granola BarsPepperoni Pizza Bread:

Pepperoni pizza bread is a merit evening meal. Try it must; you will become fond of it.

Serving size: 2 servings

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Two loaves of Italian bread
  • ½ cup of parmesan cheese
  • Two tablespoons of olive oil
  • Four tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • Two teaspoons of dried oregano
  • ½ cup of grated mozzarella
  • Two slices of pepperoni

Directions:

  • Cut the loaves of Italian bread into halves, proceeding horizontally.
  • Use a grill to toast the halved Italian bread.
  • Brush with olive oil and add rest of the ingredients except dried oregano in the grill.
  • Let it broiled until you see the cheese is bubbled and melted.
  • Take some dried oregano and sprinkle at the top.
  • The delicious snacks, i.e., pepperoni pizza is ready for serving. Enjoy it.

Pepperoni Pizza BreadCrunchy Chickpeas:

Crunchy chickpeas are a delicious, healthy dose of evening time meal; must try these for a healthy evening snack.

Serving size: 1 serving

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of chickpeas
  • Two tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • One teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • One teaspoon of cumin

Directions:

  • Take an ovenproof skillet and add can drained chickpeas in it.
  • Now, add other ingredients with olive oil and cook them for 2 min.
  • Put the mixture in the oven and bake for 20 min at 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The tasty, crunchy chickpeas are ready to delight your evening.
