Michael Bolton tried to set his record straight and cleared it out to all his fans and audience that where people are claiming he was “sleeping on a live interview, he was really just “tweeting”.
On a “Morning Show” from Australia which was connected through satellite in Florida, the “When a man loves a woman” star was being interviewed. The show was caught in some technical problem and the Grammy award winner seemed like have drifted and slept.
After the problem was fixed, the hosts of the show, Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur tried to get his attention and his eyes seemed to have closed on the video.
He then said, “it has gone silent”.
The 65-year-old said that he had his first record when he was 15 years old and he has not slept since. He addressed all the people in his tweet on Tuesday and said that, with all seriousness, there were some technical issues while they were interviewing, and I was just tweeting while they caught me and it might have given off the impression of me sleeping.
He further said that we had a really great interview after the problem was fixed.
After all the issues were resolved in the network, the call connected just fine and the hosts at the “Morning Show” did not have any further issues.
“I can hear you just fine”, Bolton told the hosts of the show after they tried to connect to him.
He was hyped by a lot of people on social media who had been making an issue of his eyes closed on the interview and just making this one glitch in the network a big issue.
But he handled it well, making it very clear to everyone instead of just ignoring the whole matter.
